World Community Coffee

We are particularly proud of our ongoing relationship with our coffee growers in Pancasan, near Matagalpa, Nicaragua.

  • These producers get a guaranteed price above the world market price, freeing them from the risks of its fluctuations.
  • Not only is this coffee superb, the gourmet Arabica beans are freshly roasted in small batches each week at Creekmore’s Coffee in Qualicum.
  • Because our coffee is certified organic, you know you are not getting any unwanted chemical residues with your morning cup!
  • Finally, this coffee is shade grown, harvested under the jungle canopy. This protects biodiversity and especially important habitat for birds.
  • Profits from World Community Fair Trade sales support important community development initiatives, especially the APS project in Nicaragua and APSIES in El Salvador (see Health Care Projects).
